There’s something excitingly similar to Scott Xylo’s production, and established producer/DJ – Nightmares on Wax, both, taking on psychedelic funk and dub as their main influences throughout their music.
Scott Xylo releases his first solo single this year titled – ‘Morpheus’. The melodic rawness to the reggae sampled vocals against the hazy, downtempo beats make for a soothing listen. It continues on from the dub heavy, psychedelic, new ‘trip-hop’ sound we’ve been accustomed to from Scott Xylo in his previous project titled ‘Find Us When You Get There’.
