Chaos in the CBD reached popular acclaim through one of their first EPs released by Peckham based imprint Rhythm Section, titled Midnight in Peckham. One of Bradley Zero’s (the founder of Rhythm Section) most successfully released EPs through the label, as it sold many vinyl records across.
The duo have gone from strength to strength following that breakthrough release. Having toured across Europe, parts of Asia, Australia and New Zealand, as well as, starting their own print ‘In Dust We Trust’.
Teaming up with Negoli imprint the duo have released a silky meditative vinyl only 2-track EP. ‘Emotional Intelligence’ is funk and jazz inspired house track, which features a beautiful saxophone piece by New Zealand’s jazz legend Nathan Haines. The other side presents a slightly slow transition. As the duo team up with Chicago’s Lee Pearson Jnr (known for his writing for Larry Heard), as well as, pianist Joe Armon Jones providing the keys over the soft tranquil backing of Congo drum, with K. LaDawn adding the finishing touches with her vocals.
