One of London’s iconic live music venues was consumed by fire in the early hours of yesterday. The fires was reported on the 6th January at 8:36pm and were said to be under control by firefighters as late as 2:37pm, although the structure remains intact the dome of the arena appears to be gone.
KOKO Camden has hosted a range of musical talents from across the UK, from Kojey Radical, to the CLASH, and Ed Sheeran. Reports of how the fire broke out are unbeknownst as of yet but further investigation ongoing.
Established in the 1900, and more formerly known back then as Camden Palace, the live music venue was under refurbishment and was set to be reopened this spring.
