News: Rize Up UK Hope To Encourage Young Voters as They Host A Number of Top Musicians in London’s ‘The Cause’


Sparked to life by the UK’s snap election in 2017, Rize Up UK are a party neutral movement have been trying to encourage young voters the homeless and the economically deprived to make their vote count ever since.

Working collaboratively with a number of musicians, comedians, and entertainers the movement have been making some serious edge way, with 862k under-25s registered to vote after the launch of the campaign – a 48% increase on 2015.

Tonight they host Grime MC’s Lady Leshurr and Grime MC Jammer, the Drill Minister, and Vic Santoro at north London’s independent music and community space, the Cause. Rize Up hope inspired greater awareness for importance of young voters in the UK as the general election very quickly approach the 12th of December.

You’ll find the event at the Cause in Tottenham Hale, Ashley House from 5PM to 11PM
